SUP-ADP2400 Digital pH Sensor for Reliable Online Water Quality Monitoring

Measurement Principle

The ADP2400 measures pH using an electrochemical glass electrode principle. When the sensor is immersed in an aqueous solution, hydrogen ions selectively accumulate on the outer surface of the sensing membrane and generate an electrochemical potential difference.

An integrated Ag/AgCl reference system provides the reference potential. According to the Nernst equation, the potential difference between the measuring electrode and the reference electrode is converted into the corresponding pH value.
