Measurement Principle
The SUP-PE100 operates using the piezoresistive effect. Pressure from the measured medium is transmitted through an isolation diaphragm and silicone oil to the sensing diaphragm of the diffused silicon sensor.
Applied pressure causes a small displacement of the sensing diaphragm, changing the resistance of the integrated Wheatstone bridge. The internal electronic circuit detects this change and converts it into a corresponding standard current, voltage, or RS485 output signal.
