Project Overview
A thermal power plant in Cebu, Philippines, deployed three types of Supmea instruments to measure four process variables across its piping, tanks and equipment.
Measurement Requirements and Instrumentation
The Supmea differential pressure transmitters are used to measure the flow rate and pressure of the fluid in the pipelines, while the ultrasonic level sensors are used to measure the liquid level in the tanks. The temperature sensors are used to measure the temperature of the fluid in the pipelines and equipment.
| Measurement | Supmea instrument | Application point |
| Fluid flow and pressure | Differential pressure transmitter | Process piping |
| Liquid level | Ultrasonic level sensor | Tanks |
| Fluid temperature | Temperature sensor | Piping and equipment |
