  • Introduction

Supmea COD Analyzer Liquiline System offers incomparable online measurement of chemical oxygen demand, which supports precise monitoring of the cleaning capacity of wastewater and sorts of chemical reactions in industries, laboratories, urban and rural water treatments, and sewage rivers. Automatic calibration and cleaning ability save your budget on a large scale, along with the advanced documentation processing via remote control.

  • Key Features:

  1. Low reagent consumption: Reagent consumption for a single measurement is less than 3mL.
  2. Separation of toxic wastewater and non-toxic water: No interference with the measurement
  3. Double optical path detection: Real-time calculation of absorbance, eliminating the interference of the external environment on the optical system
  4. Insufficient reagent alarm: Automatically alerts to an insufficient amount of reagents and samples to avoid measurement failure
  5. Automatic compensation of turbidity: Automatic compensation for to sample's turbidity to eliminate the measurement failure
  6. Automatic range switching: Automatically switches to high-range through dilution when the detection result is over the current range
  7. Key parameter upload: Key parameters are being uploaded by default based on the protocol requirements
  8. Friendly man-machine interaction: Linuc system making the operation easy and user-friendly
  9. Expanded storage: Supporting USB and TF cards for program update, data export, and data storage expansion
  • Measuring Principle

The sample is rapidly digested under strong oxidant (potassium dichromate), catalyst (silver sulfate), and high temperature conditions. Chromium (VI) is reduced to Chromium (III), and the color of the reaction solution changes; the degree of color change is proportional to the concentration of organic compounds in the sample. The instrument can calculate COD through spectrophotometric.
